Python/Quant Developer

Salary: £30,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong Python development experience in a quantitative, trading, financial markets, or data-intensive environment
• Experience building pricing, risk, analytics, trading, or quantitative applications
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience delivering production-grade applications
• Experience owning projects throughout the full life cycle, from development through production deployment
• Experience working in agile or lean engineering teams with cross-disciplinary contributions
• Exposure to cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, containerisation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
• Experience integrating with data platforms, APIs, analytics engines, or enterprise systems
• Understanding of production support, release management, and operational ownership
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies, frameworks, and tools quickly
• Experience collaborating directly with quants, traders, business stakeholders, or platform teams is beneficial
• Mathematical, quantitative, or financial markets knowledge is advantageous; candidates with a strong technical engineering background and exposure to quantitative systems may also be suitable

• Take ownership from initial design and development through testing, deployment, and production support
