Job Description

Salary: £65,000 - 105,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Experience in multiple areas such as SOC operations, malware analysis, or incident response.
  • Experience conducting or managing incident response, including investigating targeted threats.
  • Computer forensic analysis experience using a variety of tools to determine the extent and scope of compromise.
  • Understanding of system internals and how to implement and execute countermeasures and remediation.
  • Knowledge of network protocols and analysis tools, with the ability to analyze network logs.
  • Ability to perform static and dynamic malware analysis.
  • Strong understanding of targeted attacks and the ability to develop customized tactical and strategic remediation plans.
  • Strong understanding of secure network architecture and experience in network operations.
  • Experience coding in Python, PowerShell, .NET, or other languages, or a desire to learn.
  • Proven experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes.
  • Ability to complete technical tasks without supervision.
  • Desire to develop technical and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Contributing thought leadership in the incident response industry.
  • Ability to foster a positive work environment and communicate effectively with customers during security incidents.
  • A degree in computer science or a related field is welcome, as are industry-related DFIR certifications; neither is required.
Responsibilities:
  • Handle and remediate incidents across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
  • Analyze malware across customer environments, including new and emerging threats.
  • Develop and improve incident detection processes and execute countermeasures.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to customers in writing and verbally.
  • Develop and implement security content and automations across CrowdStrike modules, including EDR and SIEM.
  • Share industry thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and public speaking.
  • Provide feedback and solutions to improve operational materials and capabilities.
  • Support clients with onboarding and configuring other CrowdStrike Falcon security modules.
