Tier 1 IT Support Specialist

Salary: £33,000 - 73,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with around 1–2 years experience within IT Support, Service Desk, Helpdesk or a similar technical support position.
• We need good knowledge of Windows, including basic installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
• We require experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Outlook.
• We would like familiarity with Jira or another IT ticketing system.
• macOS support experience would be advantageous.
• We are looking for strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• We need excellent communication and customer service skills.
• You should be comfortable managing multiple tickets and competing priorities.
• You must be able to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
• You should be happy working full-time from either our London or Milton Keynes office.

Responsibilities:

• We provide first-line technical support via ticketing systems, phone, chat and face-to-face.
• We monitor and manage a busy IT support queue.
• We troubleshoot Windows devices, with some exposure to macOS.
• We support Microsoft 365, Outlook, Zoom and other business applications.
• We log, categorise and prioritise support tickets.
• We resolve common Tier 1 technical issues remotely.
• We escalate more complex issues to Tier 2, Tier 3 or specialist teams.
• We identify urgent or business-critical issues and ensure they are prioritised appropriately.
• We maintain accurate ticket notes and provide clear handovers to other support teams.
• We support users across different countries and time zones.

This is an ongoing temporary, full-time, office-based role, with the position available in either our London or Milton Keynes office. It is a great opportunity for an IT support professional looking to develop their experience within a fast-paced international environment, with a salary of £30,000 to £35,000 DOE.
