Mendix Architect
Job Description
Salary: £60,000 - 100,000 per year
Requirements:- 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 5 years focused on Mendix.
- Strong understanding of Mendix architecture, microflows, nanoflows, and app security.
- Proven ability to lead small development teams and deliver complex projects.
- Experience with REST APIs, data modeling, and integrations with external systems.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and agile development practices.
- Mendix Advanced or Expert certification preferred.
- Clear communication skills—you can explain technical ideas to non-technical people.
- Lead the design and development of enterprise-grade Mendix applications.
- Work with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Establish and enforce Mendix best practices, coding standards, and reusable components.
- Mentor and review the work of Mendix developers and citizen developers across the organization.
- Integrate Mendix apps with enterprise systems (APIs, databases, authentication, etc.).
- Drive deployment automation, performance optimization, and application monitoring.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects on solution design, scalability, and maintainability.
