Data Scientist / Senior Data Scientist - London

Salary: £65,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field
• Applied AI experience, including generative AI, agentic solutions, regression and classification, supervised learning, and unsupervised learning
• Strong mathematical background in linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistics
• Experience with scalable machine learning, including MapReduce and streaming
• Ability to drive a project and work both independently and in a team
• Smart, motivated, with a can-do attitude and a desire to make a difference
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Preferred: experience with JavaScript and prototyping languages such as Python and R
• Preferred: experience with Java and Scala
• Preferred: a portfolio of projects such as GitHub or papers

Responsibilities:

• Lead the research, design, implementation, and deployment of machine learning algorithms, intelligent agents, and optimization solutions for enterprise applications leveraging the C3 AI Suite
• Assist and enable our customers to build their own applications on the C3 AI Suite
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new features of the C3 AI Suite
• Analyse model performance across asset fleets, diagnose issues such as low risk scores or false positives, and recommend hyperparameter adjustments
• Collaborate with data and subject matter experts from our team and customer teams to seek, understand, validate, interpret, and correctly use new data elements
• Work directly with data scientists, software engineers, and subject matter experts to define new analytics capabilities for customer decision-making and digital transformation
