IT Support Engineer

Salary: £60,000 - 110,000 per year

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree
• Experience troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment
• Experience in PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation
• Experience in IT client, server, and network service delivery
• Experience with networking technology (TCP/IP, subnetting, DNS and DHCP)
• Experience supporting Windows, Mac and/or Linux operating systems in a corporate setting
• Experience working with Windows Server technologies
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English at C1 level or above
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Experience in networking
• Experience supporting video conference and teleconference equipment
• CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry relevant certifications
• Experience in procurement, inventory and asset management of IT equipment as well as IT lifecycle

Responsibilities:

• Support end-user equipment and our buildings IT infrastructure
• Help with key network projects, like the IT setup of new Amazon buildings
• Suggest new processes that improve the way we use IT in our operational sites
• Train and mentor IT technicians
• Work on site and travel to other operational sites in our country, and potentially internationally, several times a month
• Support remote and on-site colleagues with IT issues
• Use our expertise to ensure platforms are working at their best
• Implement projects to maintain or improve our IT infrastructure
• Help design the infrastructure for new buildings and make sure everything is working for the site launch
• Troubleshoot disruptive IT incidents
• Develop new processes that improve our IT systems
• Train and mentor colleagues
