Requirements:- A proven track record in 1st and 2nd line technical support, preferably within an educational environment.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Windows OS, MS Office/Office 365, and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS).
- A strong focus on customer service with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- An analytical, problem-solving mindset with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A strong teamwork ethic and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle are essential.
- Appropriate qualifications and training for the role.
- A valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, or willingness to undertake one.
- Safeguarding checks in line with statutory guidance may be required.
- Provide high-quality 1st and 2nd line technical support for desktop PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and software.
- Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and Windows operating systems.
- Set up and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment in classrooms and meeting rooms, including projectors and video conferencing systems.
- Perform basic system administration tasks such as Active Directory account management and password resets.
- Assist with network troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi connectivity and physical patching.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, software licensing, and equipment inventory.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including the manual handling of equipment like desktop computers and printers.
