Junior Solution Architect
Job Description
Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year
Requirements:- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- 2-4 years of experience in a software engineering background
- Experience in the design and implementation of end-to-end data and application architectures
- Experience in conceptual, logical and physical modelling
- Experience in the design and implementation of complex, large-scale distributed systems
- Experience in analysing and implementing solutions to meet both functional and non-functional requirements
- Extensive knowledge of operating systems, system security, cloud and database management
- Coding experience or understanding in languages such as Java, .NET, Python, and similar
- Knowledge of microservices
- Knowledge of API design
- Experience with agile development
- Work on projects with our public sector clients and help deliver our services to the highest standard
- Work with multiple business stakeholders to design business solutions that delivery teams can implement
- Undertake structured analysis of technical issues and translate this analysis into solution designs
- Provide design input and patterns when consulted on design
- Identify deeper issues that need fixing and look for opportunities to collaborate and reuse components
- Communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Operate with high levels of autonomy and make decisions on how to manage escalated issues in line with client needs
- Demonstrate effective communication and help lead the development of a technical team
- Build consensus between various stakeholders
- Apply creativity and innovation to solutions for the benefit of the customer

Solirius Consulting delivers technical consultancy and application delivery to our clients so they can solve real-world problems and respond to an ever-changing technical landscape.
