Junior Solution Architect

Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• 2-4 years of experience in a software engineering background
• Experience in the design and implementation of end-to-end data and application architectures
• Experience in conceptual, logical and physical modelling
• Experience in the design and implementation of complex, large-scale distributed systems
• Experience in analysing and implementing solutions to meet both functional and non-functional requirements
• Extensive knowledge of operating systems, system security, cloud and database management
• Coding experience or understanding in languages such as Java, .NET, Python, and similar
• Knowledge of microservices
• Knowledge of API design
• Experience with agile development

Responsibilities:

• Work on projects with our public sector clients and help deliver our services to the highest standard
• Work with multiple business stakeholders to design business solutions that delivery teams can implement
• Undertake structured analysis of technical issues and translate this analysis into solution designs
• Provide design input and patterns when consulted on design
• Identify deeper issues that need fixing and look for opportunities to collaborate and reuse components
• Communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Operate with high levels of autonomy and make decisions on how to manage escalated issues in line with client needs
• Demonstrate effective communication and help lead the development of a technical team
• Build consensus between various stakeholders
• Apply creativity and innovation to solutions for the benefit of the customer
