• We require strong expertise in operating model design, business architecture and organisational design.
• We require extensive programme and portfolio management experience.
• We require a track record of delivering transformation across people, process, technology, governance and culture.
• We require experience working with Executive Committees, Boards and senior stakeholders.
• We require strong commercial, financial and organisational acumen.
• We welcome experience within charities, foundations, research, healthcare, the public sector or other mission-led organisations.
• We welcome experience of enterprise-wide digital transformation.
• We welcome a qualification in business architecture, programme management, organisational design or change management.
• We welcome knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and operating model methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• We will ask you to partner with the Executive Director of Discovery and the Senior Leadership Team to translate strategy into a clear transformation roadmap.
• We will ask you to lead development of future-state business architecture, capability models and target operating models.
• We will ask you to establish and oversee a portfolio of strategic transformation initiatives, ensuring effective governance, delivery and benefits realisation.
• We will ask you to drive organisational design, process transformation and changes to ways of working.
• We will ask you to develop prioritisation frameworks, success measures and performance metrics to ensure measurable outcomes.
• We will ask you to lead transformation governance, managing risks, dependencies, investment and organisational readiness.
• We will ask you to work closely with HR, Communications and senior stakeholders to drive effective change and adoption.
• We will ask you to challenge existing operating models and ways of working to improve effectiveness, scalability and organisational performance.
• We will ask you to translate strategic priorities into actionable programmes across business architecture, operating model design, organisational change, process transformation and technology enablement.

We are seeking a Transformation Lead to join the Discovery function of a leading life science organisation. This is a 12-month contract based in London with hybrid working, paying £800 per day inside IR35. You will report to the Executive Director of Discovery and lead a cohesive transformation programme designed to deliver measurable business outcomes.
