Smart Systems & Cyber Security Apprentice

Salary: £26,500 - 26,500 per year

Responsibilities:

• Configure and install network hardware including switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
• Assist with basic cybersecurity monitoring tasks, such as reviewing alerts or updating security software
• Learn to use AI-driven tools for automating routine IT support tasks or analysing system performance
• Monitor and review network infrastructure to ensure effective operational uptime and network performance
• Create and maintain technical documentation and diagrams outlining the network architecture and procedures
• Provide technical support to localised IT teams and assist with network-related inquiries
• Respond to security incidents to ensure the integrity of the network
• Support the setup and maintenance of smart office technologies, such as connected meeting rooms, digital signage, or automated systems
• Contribute to testing and troubleshooting smart devices or AI-powered applications used within the company
