Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: £55,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for a candidate with relevant networking, infrastructure, and Microsoft qualifications such as CCNA, JNCP, MCSA, or VCP.
• We want experience managing Microsoft Azure and Office 365, including Conditional Access, Azure AD Connect, Exchange Online/Hybrid, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune/Endpoint Management.
• We value experience with public and private cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• We are looking for experience maintaining and updating VMware vSphere and Hyper-V environments, including replication and failover.
• We want experience supporting VOIP systems such as FreePBX, Mitel, Gamma, and Skype/Teams VOIP.
• We are looking for experience with MDM, MFA, email filtering, next generation firewalls, and antivirus solutions.
• We want experience with Windows Server installation and configuration.
• We value experience maintaining, updating, and troubleshooting SAN devices, configuring iSCSI connectivity, and managing clusters.
• We want experience supporting and troubleshooting RDS, RemoteApp, and Citrix environments, both on-premises and in the cloud.
• We are looking for third-line network troubleshooting experience and support for firewalls such as Palo Alto, Sophos, FortiNet, Draytek, Juniper, and Cisco.
• We want experience supporting Windows desktops, applications, tablets, and mobile devices.
• We expect effective communication, a methodical approach to diagnosis and documentation, independent research, organisation, and prioritisation.
• We require a full clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities:

• We deliver implementation projects to our customers.
• We create excellent documentation.
• We carry out project handovers to service delivery.
• We implement new technologies.
• We scope and plan successful projects.
• We provide internal training to support staff development.
• We mentor junior team members.
• We work on a mix of on-premises and cloud projects, including cloud service configuration, Microsoft 365 migrations, virtual server deployment or upgrades, firewall installation and security, VPN setup, and backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• We troubleshoot and deliver high-quality solutions that keep our clients happy.
• We work closely with a supportive and knowledgeable team while supporting clients through project planning, delivery, and handover.
