Senior Software Engineer

Salary: £70,000 - 110,000 per year

Requirements:

• Were looking for a bachelors or masters degree in IT or a related field.
• We require at least 6 years of developer experience, including at least 4 years of hands-on Java implementations.
• Were looking for experience leading client relationships and developing or implementing enterprise and/or cloud software.
• We value strong organizational and troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for sharing best practices with fellow developers.
• We expect good written and spoken English, our working language.
• Knowledge of Spring and Maven is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Bloomreach development on client projects that typically affect millions of people each month.
• Integrate our products using Java and modern frontend frameworks such as Vue, Angular, and React.
• Validate functional discovery, scope, and solution-design decisions for product integrations.
• Assess technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Make architectural decisions and advise our customers and partners alongside Solution Architects.
• Improve the usability of our DXP platforms add-ons and plugins through code, technical documentation, and training guides.
• Learn on the job and coach or train peers.

This Senior Software Engineer role is part of our Professional Services team, where we work with clients and partners to create digital experiences using AI-powered APIs and SDKs for Bloomreachs Digital Experience Platform. The position is full-time and based in our London office or remote from home. Onboarding includes product and company training and shadowing colleagues on large implementations. Occasional short trips to clients or partners in EMEA may be required.
