Senior Power Platform Developer

Salary: £60,000 - 65,000 per year

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse
• Strong experience delivering enterprise-grade solutions and leading technical design
• Experience working with integrations, APIs and Azure services
• Strong understanding of Power Platform governance, security and environment strategy
• Proficiency in JavaScript and/or C#
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams and using Azure DevOps
• Strong analytical, methodical and problem-solving approach
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience mentoring and supporting junior developers
• Desirable: experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
• Desirable: experience with Power BI and reporting solutions
• Desirable: experience leveraging AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, generative AI or intelligent agents
• Desirable: experience working within professional services
• Desirable: experience supporting digital transformation or business change programmes

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, testing and release of complex solutions across the Microsoft Power Platform
• Work closely with stakeholders to analyse requirements and design scalable, efficient solutions
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and code reviews for developers within the team
• Define and promote development standards, best practices and governance across Power Platform solutions
• Ensure solutions meet appropriate security, data governance and change management standards
• Design and implement integrations with Microsoft 365, Azure services, APIs and third-party systems
• Work as part of an Agile/Scrum team, contributing to planning, estimation and delivery
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and ensure effective handover to support teams
• Provide high-level support and troubleshooting for business-critical applications
• Drive continuous improvement across processes, tooling and Power Platform capability
• Explore opportunities to use AI, automation and emerging Microsoft technologies

We are a leading professional services organisation based in central Bristol. Were hiring a Senior Power Platform Developer for our busy, successful IT Development team. This permanent senior role combines hands-on technical delivery with technical leadership, governance and mentoring, working closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver enterprise-scale automation, applications and integrations across the Microsoft Power Platform. The salary is up to £65,000 plus a 10–15% bonus, with hybrid working and three days onsite per week.
