Senior Delphi Developer

Salary: £75,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• 10 years of commercial Delphi experience, including XE2 and XE10
• 10 years of Transact-SQL and MS SQL Server experience
• 3 years of .NET C# experience, ideally
• Demonstrable experience mentoring developers and/or leading technical teams
• Experience with legacy, undocumented systems
• Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery experience
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience, preferred

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance our mission-critical Delphi application
• Diagnose and resolve complex defects
• Mentor developers, share knowledge, and raise the wider teams capability
• Lead the planning, estimating, and reviewing of development work
• Guide best practices in secure coding, documentation, and quality assurance
• Liaise with business users, QA, and infrastructure teams as a senior technical contact
• Contribute technical direction to modernisation and transition projects
