Security Consultant (Supply Chain)

Salary: £44,000 - 76,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of supply chain threats, current and emerging cyber risks, and their application to third-party environments
• Deep security expertise, with experience in threat detection, endpoint security, malware protection, and information security controls
• Ability to apply operational risk principles and make clear, proportionate decisions
• Ability to analyse complex data and turn findings into clear, business-relevant recommendations
• Ability to influence and collaborate, build trusted relationships, and support and challenge stakeholders
• Comfort working in agile environments and driving continuous improvement
• Interest in how automation and AI can improve security outcomes
• Subject matter expertise and sound judgement, including the ability to support high-priority scenarios such as incidents
• CISSP, CISM, or CISMP certification is desirable but not essential

Responsibilities:

• Help shape how we identify, understand, and respond to cyber risk across our third-party ecosystem
• Use data, tools, and insight to detect and analyse threats, and translate findings into actionable advice for business and technology decisions
• Work across cyber, resilience, and supplier teams to influence how security is designed, embedded, and continuously improved
• Strengthen our supply chain threat management approach by supporting incident response, informing risk decisions, and advancing proactive, intelligence-led controls
• Work in agile ways and explore how automation and AI can improve detection, analysis, and response
