Product Manager - Legal

Salary: £61,000 - 101,000 per year

Responsibilities:

• We are responsible for the successful development, delivery, performance, and continuous improvement of the Legal Portfolio.
• We act as the voice of the customer, translating customer needs, business priorities, data insights, and market opportunities into a clear and prioritised product backlog and roadmap.
• We own and manage the product backlog end to end, including sprint plans, backlog grooming, and release planning.
• We prioritise features, enhancements, defects, technical debt, and risks to maximise customer and business value.
• We lead customer discovery activities, including customer interviews, feedback analysis, research, and insight gathering to identify user needs and opportunities.
• We ensure customer insights directly influence product decisions and priorities.
• We define requirements, acceptance criteria, and success measures for product features and releases.
• We facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, release planning, and cross-functional delivery activities with engineering teams.
• We own, maintain, and communicate the product roadmap, making informed decisions on sequencing, priorities, and trade-offs.
• We partner with UX and design colleagues to create intuitive, customer-centred experiences and ensure solutions meet usability and quality standards.
• We define, track, analyse, and report on product performance metrics against pre-defined success measures.
• We build and interpret product dashboards and use data to drive continuous improvement and validate decisions.
• We set clear measures for success for features and releases.
• We serve as the product expert, deeply understanding and providing guidance on product capabilities, technical architecture, limitations, and dependencies.
• We build strong stakeholder relationships and manage competing priorities across engineering, commercial, operational, customer, and partner groups.
• We contribute to product launches and go-to-market activities, ensuring readiness across commercial, marketing, and customer-facing teams.
• We maintain ownership of product health, including quality, performance, security, compliance, technical debt, and ongoing lifecycle management.
