Product Manager - Analytics & Data Products

Salary: £20,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• At least 35 years experience as a Product Manager.
• Strong understanding of analytics, reporting and data-driven products.
• Experience developing product strategy and turning it into clear, executable roadmaps.
• Hands-on approach and experience working closely with Product Owners and Agile software development teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging customers and senior leaders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the commercial awareness to balance customer needs and business objectives.
• Experience supporting go-to-market activity and working with Sales or Pre-Sales teams.
• Desirable: Experience with cloud-based platforms, AWS services or cloud-native architectures.
• Desirable: Knowledge of AI-enabled products, data platforms, APIs, integration, governance or data quality.
• Desirable: Experience within telematics, logistics, fleet management or IoT environments.

Responsibilities:

• Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for analytics, data products and relevant applications of AI.
• Identify market opportunities through customer research, industry trends and competitor analysis.
• Own products and services covering reporting, dashboards, analytics and data services.
• Develop business cases and prioritise investment based on customer value and commercial return.
• Work with customers to understand their reporting, integration and decision-support requirements.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI and machine learning to real customer challenges, ensuring new capabilities deliver measurable value.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering, UX and Data teams to translate strategy into deliverable outcomes.
• Prioritise product backlogs based on customer value, business objectives and technical considerations.
• Partner with Sales, Pre-Sales, Customer Success and Marketing to support product launches, adoption and customer engagement.
• Define product KPIs, use customer and usage insights to guide decisions, and drive continuous improvement across the portfolio.
