Product Manager - Analytics Architecture

Salary: £55,000 - 95,000 per year

Requirements:

• Were looking for someone with 10+ years of experience in financial technology, quantitative finance, or a related field at a major financial institution or technology provider.
• You should have a strong understanding of financial models and analytics, gained through a technical, front-office, or product role, and the ability to question assumptions, understand tradeoffs, and influence how analytics are built and delivered.
• You should have experience driving large, complex initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders, with a track record of delivering results in dynamic, fast-moving environments.
• You should be able to explain analytics architecture concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• You should have strong knowledge of financial instruments across asset classes, including derivatives, fixed income, and structured products.
• You should be aware of the regulatory landscape and how evolving requirements shape client analytics needs.
• Wed also value familiarity with scalable analytics systems at large financial institutions or technology providers, and an understanding of how to scale them.
• Wed welcome experience with AI or machine learning in a quantitative, product, or technology context.
• Wed value direct client engagement experience, such as onboarding, implementation, or advisory work with senior stakeholders.
• Wed welcome a record of delivering in highly complex environments, such as leading a major regulatory program, building a system from scratch, or delivering a large-scale initiative across a large organization.
• Experience with payoff languages or domain-specific languages used in financial contract representation would be an advantage.
• Years of experience are a guide; well consider candidates who can demonstrate the skills needed for the role.

Responsibilities:

• Well rely on you to define and drive analytics strategy with our quantitative, engineering, and financial engineering teams, advancing our analytics architecture and model capabilities across asset classes.
• Youll translate needs from clients, sales, and specialist partners into clear product direction.
• Youll lead complex, multi-workstream programs from end to end, coordinating product, engineering, quantitative, model validation, and QA teams to deliver high-quality releases to clients.
• Youll gather, refine, and translate requirements from internal and external stakeholders into actionable product specifications.
• Youll lead our analytics roadmap, collaborating with engineering partners and bringing domain-specific perspectives to the development of our analytics capabilities.
• Youll engage directly with clients, presenting our analytics vision, gathering requirements, and supporting successful implementations.
• Youll monitor regulatory developments and market trends that shape client analytics needs, ensuring our roadmap reflects current obligations and future demand.
• Youll work with our quantitative and engineering teams to advance a model-agnostic analytics framework built on shared calibrations, common numerical methods, and uniform model settings across Bloomberg Terminal, Enterprise Data, and Enterprise Products.
• Youll manage cross-functional initiatives, navigate stakeholder dynamics, and communicate the value and outcomes of our analytics to clients and senior leadership.
