Network Engineer

Salary: £35,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements:

• A solid understanding of networking fundamentals, TCP/IP, and common protocols.
• Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Strong Linux knowledge and command-line experience.
• Experience delivering technical support in a customer-focused environment.
• Clear communication, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritise effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of day-to-day network operations, keeping core routers, switches, and firewalls running smoothly while supporting new sites and upgrades.
• Support network automation initiatives using Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools.
• Work closely with colleagues across engineering and support, sharing knowledge and contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment.
• Maintain clear documentation and follow security, compliance, and operational best practices.
