MES/MOM/MSB CoE IT Specialist

Salary: £40,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Manufacturing, or Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Extensive experience in Windows Server administration, application management, and configuration, including IIS, certificates, services, firewalls, and PowerShell.
• Experience with Kubernetes and managing applications running in Docker containers.
• Extensive experience with SQL database management and querying, including PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
• Experience with Azure technologies, or willingness to learn them.
• Background in developing, designing, and implementing complex integration solutions.
• Experience delivering technical deployments of IT projects and working in a Windows Server environment.
• Knowledge of basic programming languages and technologies such as .NET, HTML, C#, XML/XSL/XSD, and JavaScript.
• Experience with industrial protocols such as OPC/UA, MQTT, REST, and Modbus, and supporting tools such as brokers and browsers.
• Working knowledge of IEC-62443 and IACS security.
• Working knowledge of Node-RED.
• Knowledge of ISA95 is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Fanuc or Siemens CNC machines and Siemens PLCs is beneficial.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, including listening, constructive challenge, and communication.
• Experience integrating Siemens Opcenter, including Designer Studio, Opcenter Connect MOM, or Siemens Insights Hub, or similar experience, is preferred.
• Experience with Mendix integrations is preferred.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting applications, ideally in manufacturing or production.
• Strong commitment and accountability in maintaining and supporting production environments.
• Eagerness to expand existing knowledge and learn new skills.
• Strong spoken and written English communication skills; Dutch is an advantage.
• Ability to work in multicultural environments as a team player.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, support, and deploy the AeroConnect Platform to provide connectivity and data analytics solutions for manufacturing environments.
• Work with IT Integration Specialists (ESB) and MES/MOM specialists, integrating manufacturing technologies at production sites and Global Technology Centres.
• Define and build the business case for a cloud-based integration platform, then design, implement, and support the solution following financial approval.
• Maintain existing BizTalk V2020 instances until they are replaced by the cloud integration platform.
• Develop and implement data integration strategies to enable efficient data flow between systems and data sources.
• Use Azure Integration Services and other tools to orchestrate data workflows.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data architectures across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
• Create and optimize data models for storage, retrieval, and analysis.
• Implement and manage data lakes, data warehouses, SQL solutions, and cloud lake solutions.
• Apply data-security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Monitor and optimize cloud and on-premises data solution performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and issues.
• Represent the Integration Centre of Excellence (CoE) as a recognized subject matter expert.
• Review business requirements and develop and deploy solutions that meet customer requirements and expectations.
• Partner with the business and work alongside IT Business Partners, the Project Management Office, IT Security, and IT Operations teams.
• Deploy solutions at sites in the APAC, EU, and North America regions.
