Manager, AI Agents Lead Developer, SAP Design & Innovation, Technology and Transformation

Salary: £95,000 - 130,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience building AI agent systems using LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent orchestration frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience implementing production RAG architectures, including embedding models, vector stores, and retrieval strategies.
• Proficiency with AI-powered development tools, including Cursor IDE and Claude Code.
• Experience integrating with LLM APIs such as Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT, and Google Gemini.
• Experience building custom MCP servers to expose APIs, databases, and business logic to AI models securely and consistently.
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL; NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Redis; and vector databases such as Pinecone, ChromaDB, Weaviate, or Qdrant.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and API design.
• Leadership capability, including taking accountability for outcomes, guiding teams through ambiguity, building client relationships, and communicating technical concepts clearly.
• Commitment to quality, coaching and developing others, continuous learning, and inclusive collaboration.
• Experience as a full-stack developer and AI engineer who can lead teams and deliver high-quality outcomes with modern AI technology.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of intelligent AI agent systems and full-stack applications for SAP consulting engagements.
• Own end-to-end delivery of AI agent solutions, from architecture and design through production deployment and go-live.
• Lead and support high-performing teams delivering AI-powered solutions that enhance SAP transformations and automate business processes.
• Guide clients through complex technical and organisational change, helping them make informed decisions and realise value from AI and LLM technology.
• Build trusted client relationships and lead client conversations and workshops.
• Establish best-practice AI architectures and deliver high-quality, sustainable outcomes.
• Develop and mentor consultants and senior consultants.
• Contribute to the growth of our SAP+ Design & Innovation practice and support innovation across client programmes.
