IT Support Technician

Salary: £27,000 - 30,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven IT-related problem-solving skills
• Comfortable in a customer-facing role, both in person and remotely
• Experience with Microsoft operating systems and Office 365 management
• Full UK driving licence
• IT support experience: 1 year required
• Ability to commute to or relocate to Fareham, Hampshire before starting work

Responsibilities:

• Provide a first point of contact for staff, resolving technical issues and queries
• Familiarise ourselves with the IT estate and the business to contribute to customer reviews and planning
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure IT systems are operating as expected
• Review dashboards and respond to alerts raised by our automated monitoring
• Escalate issues internally or to vendor support when needed
• Maintain documentation and accurate records of activity
• Attend remote sites as required

We are looking for a capable and personable 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer to work on-site, full-time, with one of our valued customers in Fareham, Hampshire. In this role, we will place you as the primary point of contact for IT support, giving you the opportunity to work independently, build strong relationships with users, and develop your skills across Microsoft, networking, virtualisation and backup technologies. We offer a full-time, permanent position with a salary of £27,000 to £30,000 per year, along with benefits including company events, company pension, free parking, on-site parking and sick pay.
