Information Security Analyst

Salary: £30,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Professional security management certification, such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar.
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
• Experience operating in a similar role within the framework of, and adhering to the requirements of, ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus or similar standards.
• Strong knowledge of information security concepts and technologies, risk and vendor risk management, and business continuity and crisis management.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

• Act as deputy for the Head of Information Security.
• Work with the Head of Information Security to develop and implement information security policies, standards, and documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and propose mitigation strategies.
• Manage security certifications to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Manage vendor risk by conducting security assessments of third-party providers.
• Manage internal, external, and client-driven audit findings, ensuring business departments understand issues and remediations effectively mitigate information security risks.
• Develop and manage the firms business continuity and crisis management plans.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure our security policies are followed.
• Provide staff with training and guidance on information security best practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends, threats, and security technologies.
