BI Lead Engineer / SQL DBA, SSIS, SSRS, Operations

Salary: £33,000 - 71,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong technical SQL DBA skills
• Strong Data Management and Business Intelligence background
• Strong Power BI solutions experience, including Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
• Strong experience supporting 24x7 mission-critical systems with a focus on uptime, stability, and service excellence
• Solid hands-on SQL database design and SQL DBA administration experience
• Schema development experience
• Logical and physical data modelling experience
• Excellent SQL skills, including writing scripts, stored procedures, query optimisation, and database performance tuning
• Experience leading and cultivating high-performing data teams
• Experience supporting enterprise global finance system implementations
• Experience with migration and integration activities into Microsoft Fabric
• Recent experience completing a similar role for another global organisation

Responsibilities:

• Develop and support Power BI solutions for our global operations business
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes using SSIS, SSRS, Azure Data Factory, or Microsoft Fabric
• Manage a team of 5 hands-on
• Support 24x7 mission-critical systems with a focus on uptime, stability, and service excellence
• Act as the lead supporting enterprise global finance system implementations
• Support and sponsor migration and integration activities from our legacy finance system into multiple finance systems and Microsoft Fabric
• Lead and contribute to data team development in a high-performing environment
