Backend Developer

Salary: £61,000 - 101,000 per year

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Golang, Redis, and GCP, with experience in similar or alternative technologies such as .NET also welcome.
• Experience delivering robust software solutions that adhere to industry best practice.
• Proven record of accomplishment in high availability, multi-client compatible development.
• Experience working with high availability, multiuser, and service-based systems.

Responsibilities:

• Build the backend engine behind our FollowScores app, turning complex data into real-time updates for millions of football fans.
• Develop the technology behind our football scores app as part of the FollowScores team.
• Help scale the platform to reach more users and launch innovative new features.
• Manage systems delivering data to iOS and Android apps via web sockets and REST APIs.
• Work with Golang, Redis, and GCP to ensure high-performance delivery.
• Develop scalable, maintainable, and performant systems.
• Build modern Golang microservices with provided in-house training.
• Deliver solutions that meet specific business requirements.
• Foster a culture of technical expertise and collaboration.
• Integrate third-party systems into the existing architecture.
