Job Description

Salary: £44,000 - 84,000 per year

Requirements:
  • A minimum 2.1 Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science is required; a Masters degree in Data Science or Artificial Intelligence is ideal.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information clearly to varied audiences.
  • Excellent understanding of key computer science concepts, such as databases, software engineering practices, and cloud computing, especially AWS, and data science concepts, including machine learning processes.
  • Excellent knowledge of Python, including PyTorch, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn, and initial knowledge of LangChain and RAGAS.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD workflows is required; experience with containerisation and deployment using Docker or Kubernetes is a plus.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience training, evaluating, and deploying machine learning models.
  • A growth mindset and willingness to take on new challenges as learning opportunities.
  • Flexibility regarding business travel and a positive attitude toward working across different client projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with our Data Science team to introduce automation and governance into machine learning pipelines.
  • Manage the infrastructure and orchestration pipelines needed to train machine learning models automatically and bring them into production.
  • Implement solutions to monitor the performance of machine learning models in production over time.
  • Work in teams with technical experts, including Data Engineers, Data Scientists, MLOps Engineers, and Data Visualization Specialists.
  • Interact with domain experts across different industries to understand and address challenging problems.
  • Explore and understand client data in relation to the problems being tackled, and communicate findings to clients and stakeholders.
  • Analyse client requirements and help develop suitable recommendations.
  • Help manage the machine learning lifecycle, from data selection and collection through model design and creation to operationalisation and monitoring.
  • Work closely with Data Scientists and senior MLOps Engineers to understand and implement models in production.
