Solution Architect

Salary: £30,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience in technical architecture and solution design using tools such as Sparx EA and frameworks such as ArchiMate
• Ability to communicate with and manage stakeholders at all levels
• Strong understanding of security principles and governance
• Demonstrated success designing and delivering complex systems integration solutions
• Background in a regulated industry such as defence, aerospace, nuclear, or finance is desirable
• Experience integrating enterprise-level systems is desirable
• Relevant qualifications in technical architecture and solution design, such as the BCS Practitioner Certificate in Enterprise and Solutions Architecture
• Additional certifications in security or enterprise systems are advantageous
• Must be a sole UK national and able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance

Responsibilities:

• Scope functional and non-functional requirements and translate them into high-level solution designs
• Define system components, integration points, and data flows using modern technologies and platforms
• Present and communicate solution designs to stakeholders through workshops, proposals, and visual storyboarding
• Lead technical delivery, resolve complex issues, manage risks, and work with software partners to achieve successful deployment
• Ensure solutions align with architectural strategies and standards, selecting appropriate technologies and vendors to meet programme needs
