Data Architect

Salary: £80,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• Enterprise-level data architecture experience
• Databricks experience is essential
• Experience taking over outsourced architecture and bringing it back in-house
• Experience working as an individual contributor within a team
• Experience with migration of customer data to newer cloud-based servers
• Experience with canonical model design patterns
• Experience with cleansing and ETL
• Experience creating and designing data systems using best-practice standards and principles
• Experience with data roadmap responsibility
• Experience with data lakes, data visualisation, and enterprise service bus (ESB)
• Experience with data governance and compliance standards
• Azure cloud experience
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills
• Experience setting long-term strategy
• Technical authority / leadership experience

Responsibilities:

• We act as an enterprise-level data architect within the team
• We take responsibility for the in-house architecture after it has been outsourced
• We work as an individual contributor
• We support upcoming projects including migration of customer data to newer cloud-based servers
• We own the data roadmap
• We work with Databricks, data lakes, data visualisation, and enterprise service bus (ESB)
• We ensure data governance and compliance standards are followed
• We communicate effectively with stakeholders
• We help set long-term strategy

We are offering a Data Architect role in the West Midlands with a salary of up to £80k.
