Undergraduate Software Engineer

Salary: £30,500 - 50,500 per year

Requirements:

• As a minimum, we need you to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your bachelors degree in Computing, Computer Science or an IT networks-related subject, Maths, or Physics.
• We are looking for people with experience or interest in a range of technologies including AWS, Azure, Linux, Docker, VMWare, Ansible, Foreman, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Bamboo, HDFS, Kafka, Avro, C/C++, Java, JavaScript, networking (especially security), Qt, React, Redux, JEE, Git, BitBucket, Jira, and Jama.
• Many of our roles are subject to security and export control restrictions, and all applicants must as a minimum achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard.
• For many roles, higher levels of National Security Vetting may be required, typically involving 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level.

Responsibilities:

This is a 12-month placement with a start date of 21st June 2027 and an end date of 16th June 2028.
