Senior Software Engineer

Salary: £30,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• 8+ years experience in a similar software engineering role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Angular.
• Proven expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Ability to operate independently and take ownership of delivery.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Experience working in Agile environments and delivering maintainable software solutions.
• Experience working with or developing AI-enabled solutions.
• Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot.
• Python experience.
• A proactive, self-starting mindset with a strong sense of accountability.
• Experience contributing to modern, scalable application environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and support scalable software solutions using modern engineering best practices.
• Work independently to deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and technical colleagues to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Write clean, maintainable code and robust unit tests in line with coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including performance and integration challenges.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and team collaboration.
