WBV Manager / Validation Lead - International Private Connect (Freelance, Remote EU)

For the short-term launch of an international connectivity product, we are looking for an experienced WBV Manager / Validation Lead (m/f/d). The assignment focuses on the operational validation of a cross-border data-centre connectivity solution for hyperscalers before Stage Gate 3.

This is not a purely organisational project management role. The consultant will actively shape the validation, independently perform or coordinate essential validation activities, and manage the involved national and international telecommunications units.

Project framework

• Start: 09/2026
• End: 11/2026
• Workload: approx. 40–50 person-days
• Capacity: ideally full-time for approximately ten weeks
• Location: fully remote within the EU
• Language: fluent English mandatory; German is an advantage
• Contract type: Freelance

Tasks

• Plan and manage the operational validation before Stage Gate 3
• Define and align the validation scope, criteria and acceptance requirements
• Validate the national and international service and production chains
• Work within the relevant TWIST, Tafel and NGSD process landscape
• Coordinate the involved product, technical, operational and business unitsIdentify and track findings, blockers, dependencies and risks
• Organise and facilitate the required validation sessions
• Prepare reliable validation documentation for the Stage Gate decision

Requirements

• Proven practical experience conducting or leading a WBV or comparable operational/service-readiness validation
• Strong understanding of complex telecommunications, connectivity and production chains
• Concrete practical experience with TWIST
• Concrete experience with the national Tafel chain
• Concrete experience with the international NGSD/TWIST chain
• Ability to manage a validation independently from planning through completion
• Excellent English skills for international stakeholder coordination
