Solutions Engineer

Salary: £61,000 - 101,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require a qualified accountant with 7+ years of experience in accounting or a relevant area such as corporate finance.
• We require an in-depth understanding of fund structures, including Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Private Credit.
• We expect a strong understanding of Venture Capital or Private Equity, ideally including back-office fund operations and fund administration.
• We require experience working in private markets within Luxembourg, including familiarity with Luxembourg fund structures and the local regulatory environment.
• We expect a proven track record in stakeholder management or client relationship management, along with excellent communication skills.
• Were looking for someone interested in software products that solve technical financial problems and in helping prospective customers address operational challenges.
• Nice to have: experience in a SaaS customer-facing role.
• Nice to have: experience in fund accounting or fund administration.
• Nice to have: knowledge and experience of European alternative funds regulations.

Responsibilities:

• We rely on you to build prospects confidence in our fund administration solutions by joining sales calls, understanding customer needs and pain points, shaping solutions, and communicating their business impact to decision-makers.
• We expect you to partner with our Fund Administration team, especially Delivery and Product, to lead the technical aspects of sales cycles and partnership conversations, drawing on product and fund accounting knowledge, including financial reporting, analytics, and waterfalls.
• We need you to work with prospects and strategic channel partners before sales, scope requirements, and lead technical demonstrations of our products.
• We expect you to provide product and technical financial expertise that advances our quarterly revenue goals and informs our product roadmap through conversations with prospects.
• We need you to partner with our R&D, Sales, and Delivery leaders to support progress toward team goals.
• We rely on you to provide technical coaching to members of our Go-To-Market team as needed.
• We expect you to support our Business Development team at partner seminars and events.
• We need you to advise new venture capital funds on fund formation best practices and refer them to relevant vendors, such as fund formation lawyers and tax professionals.
• We expect you to advise established and upmarket fund managers on improving fund operations and limited partner communications with our technology.
