Software Engineering Manager

Salary: £75,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience managing a team of 5+ software developers
• Background in web development, preferably PHP
• Experience leading cloud infrastructure projects, ideally AWS or Azure
• Strong knowledge of software delivery best practices and the SDLC
• Experience improving engineering processes and driving technical standards
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work closely with senior leadership
• Interest in AI-assisted software development and modern engineering practices

Responsibilities:

• Lead our engineering team of around 10 developers
• Shape our technical direction and influence technology strategy
• Improve our engineering processes, software delivery, cloud infrastructure, and engineering standards
• Oversee the development function in a hands-off leadership capacity
• Develop people and build a high-performing engineering team
