Software Engineer (Machine Learning)
Job Description
Salary: £45,000 - 80,000 per year
Requirements:- We require a university degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- We require demonstrable experience in pre-silicon or post-silicon performance analysis.
- We require hands-on experience running workloads on Linux- or Android-based devices, development boards, or pre/post-silicon environments.
- We require experience using or developing automation harnesses for repeatable workload execution, data collection, profiling, and analysis.
- We require strong scripting and data-analysis skills, such as Python, shell scripting, or similar tools.
- We require experience with profiling tools, performance counters, system traces, or telemetry.
- Experience with pre-silicon platforms such as FPGA is desirable.
- Knowledge of ML/AI workloads is beneficial and can be learned on the job.
- We require fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- We require the ability to work both in teams and independently.
- We require a high degree of initiative and confidence in problem solving.
- We require strong communication skills and the ability to communicate at both detailed and high levels.
- We run and analyse ML/AI performance on next-generation Arm IP and feed back findings to software and hardware development teams.
- We produce technical summaries for a range of audiences based on detailed analysis and interpretation of data.
- We learn about this new frontier and share our knowledge with others across the company.
- We work with teams across Arm to understand and guide both internal Arm Engineering and external Arm partners.
- We ensure the best performance with the latest Arm ML software, systems, and IP.
