Software / CRM Consultant

Salary: £30,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong experience with CRM systems, SaaS platforms, software architecture, database systems, SQL, APIs and integrations, cloud hosting and infrastructure
• Experience diagnosing unstable software platforms, reviewing existing code and development work, and improving system reliability and performance
• Experience with recruitment CRM systems, recruitment software or sales-based CRM platforms is particularly useful
• Suitable background as a Software Consultant, Technical Consultant, Solutions Architect, Senior Developer or CRM Specialist
• Comfortable independently assessing an existing system and providing clear advice

Responsibilities:

• Review our existing CRM architecture, setup, database structure and data handling
• Identify the underlying causes of crashes, errors, performance issues and instability
• Assess the quality and structure of the existing codebase, integrations, APIs, third-party services, infrastructure, hosting and scalability
• Highlight technical weaknesses and areas of risk
• Advise whether the system should be repaired, restructured or partially rebuilt
• Produce practical recommendations for a permanent solution
• Work with our existing developers where appropriate
• Potentially oversee or assist with implementing the agreed solution

We have developed an internal CRM that is operational but unstable and experiencing ongoing technical issues. Our objective is to understand the cause and establish a reliable platform, rather than continually patching individual problems. We are based in Sevenoaks, Kent, and would ideally like someone able to meet with us in person, particularly for the initial review. This is an initial part-time consultancy engagement, with potential for additional work depending on the findings and required solution. The rate is negotiable depending on experience.
