SIEM Detection Engineer - Reading

Salary: £33,000 - 65,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require valid Security clearance.
• We require strong hands-on SIEM engineering experience.
• We require LogRhythm expertise, or experience with a similar SIEM platform.
• We require Check Point knowledge.
• We require experience onboarding and integrating diverse data sources.
• We require experience developing SIEM logging, correlation, and detection rules.
• We require an understanding of security incidents and monitoring requirements.
• We require active SC clearance.

Responsibilities:

• We will have you work as a hands-on technical engineer focused on the design, build, and ongoing enhancement of SIEM logging and monitoring capabilities.
• We will have you integrate data sources.
• We will have you develop logging and detection logic.
• We will have you ensure security monitoring coverage across both IT and SCADA/OT environments.
• We will have you support compliance with regulatory requirements.

We are Harvey Nash, inviting candidates to apply for the role of SIEM Detection Engineer. This is an inside IR35 daily-rate contract paying £500 to £700 depending on experience, with a duration of 6 months.
