Service Architect - North West England

Salary: £136,560 - 145,500 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience in service architecture or IT service design roles.
• Strong understanding of ITIL framework and service management principles.
• Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure and application landscapes.
• Ability to create detailed service models and operational documentation.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Must hold or be eligible to obtain SC clearance.
• Ability to work with sensitive and classified information in compliance with government and organizational security policies.
• ITIL certification (Foundation or higher) preferred.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise or government environments preferred.
• Familiarity with service modeling tools and frameworks preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Develop service architectures that cover infrastructure, applications, and operational processes.
• Work with stakeholders to capture functional and non-functional requirements for new or modified services.
• Ensure new services integrate effectively with existing ITSM processes (e.g., Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management).
• Produce service design packages, including service models, operational procedures, and support documentation.
• Define service standards and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure smooth transition from design to live operation.
• Identify opportunities to enhance service performance and cost efficiency.
