Senior QA Tester

Salary: £40,000 - 40,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven expertise in testing contact centre telephony platforms.
• Strong knowledge of telephony testing tools, techniques and methodologies.
• Demonstrable capability in delivering test automation within a contact centre environment.
• Strong understanding of maintaining traceability between requirements, tests and defects.
• Proven capability in planning and delivering non-functional testing, including performance, scalability, resilience, accessibility and operational acceptance testing.
• Ability to provide strategic testing leadership, shaping quality practices across product teams and the wider testing community.

Responsibilities:

• Lead quality assurance activities across complex contact centre platforms.
• Define test strategies and embed best practice across the delivery lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, product managers and stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure and resilient services.
• Use manual testing, test automation, functional testing and non-functional testing to identify risks early and improve delivery confidence.
• Support successful releases for digital telephony services used by millions of citizens and colleagues.
• Provide technical leadership within the wider testing community.
• Promote a shift-left approach to quality engineering.
• Help teams build scalable, high-performing digital services.
