Senior Python Developer - Microservices

Salary: £69,000 - 106,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for software engineers with experience using Python.
• We ideally have experience with Python, PostgreSQL, Jenkins, CircleCI, AWS, Redshift, Redis, Django, and REST Framework.
• We ideally have experience with Docker.
• We ideally have experience working with microservices architecture over HTTP.
• We value TDD and strong testing practices.
• We work with Kanban and Scrum, so familiarity with both is beneficial.
• We are looking for engineers who are excited to work on secure technologies in a Python environment.

Responsibilities:

• We build a checkout architecture that allows customers to order from multiple retailers using a simple API.
• We build the integrated payment and checkout system using Python and the latest tools, technologies, and methodologies.
• We support partner integration teams and ensure integrations with partner retail checkout systems and APIs are easy and effortless.
• We integrate with third-party payment systems such as Stripe, Klarna, and Apple Pay.
• We build a secure data management and CRM system for internal and external stakeholders.
• We develop new ways to automate retailer onboarding that support global regulations.
• We work in a small, lean team of software engineers and a product manager.
