Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: £60,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong Azure and M365 engineering experience
• Hands-on Intune and Entra ID identity management experience
• Experience delivering infrastructure projects end to end
• Background in SME or mid-sized environments, not MSP
• Proactive, engineering-led mindset with clear communication

Responsibilities:

• Support a growing SME with a modern Microsoft estate and a clear roadmap of cloud, identity and endpoint modernisation
• Join a small, high-performing infrastructure team delivering hands-on engineering, project work and operational improvements across a hybrid Azure/M365 environment
• Manage Azure IaaS and PaaS administration and resource management
• Handle Entra ID identity, conditional access and SSO
• Administer Intune device management, compliance and Autopilot
• Support M365 administration including Exchange Online, Teams and SharePoint
• Work with Windows Server 2016-2022, AD, GPO, DNS and DHCP
• Support VMware and Hyper-V virtualisation
• Use PowerShell for automation
• Support backup and disaster recovery with Veeam or similar
• Deliver infrastructure upgrades, migrations and modernisation projects
