Senior HR Data Engineer

Salary: £37,000 - 77,000 per year

Requirements:

• Advanced SQL, Python, Oracle HCM or equivalent (including HDL and business objects), ETL, KNIME, and RPA design skills
• Expertise in data-flow and integration pattern design, HR data-domain design, HR IT landscapes and inter-system dependencies, and HR data-design standards and best practices
• Experience delivering higher-variability projects and partnering consultatively with HR BPO towers
• Functional subject-matter expertise in Workforce Administration / Employee Data Administration, Time & Attendance and Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, and Recruiting & Onboarding
• Agile ways of working and a security-by-design approach

Responsibilities:

• Design and build high-complexity solutions, including end-to-end ETL and SQL transformations and migrations, advanced data loading, and automated reconciliation
• Identify and define new integration and RPA or automation flow patterns, and establish architecture for Engineers to implement
• Review HR BPO process-tower requirements and design approaches against standards and best practices, and help define systems data-flow requirements
• Apply expertise in HR processes, the HR IT landscape, interdependencies, and data-exchange methods; help define business rules for how adjacent systems respond to HR data
• Design HR master data domains, including object definitions, custom-field assignments, lists of values, and naming standards and structures
• Develop Python data-auditing tools to support HR Data Management Operations quality assurance and migration activities
• Develop medium-to-complex RPA data-flow patterns to pre-qualify data, support processing and loading, and automate reconciliation
