Senior Cheat Software Engineer

Salary: £29,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require 5+ years of professional, academic, or research experience in reverse engineering software or malware analysis.
• We require strong C/C++ skills and experience with large codebases.
• We require proven experience analysing software and malware using static and dynamic analysis.
• We require experience circumventing anti-analysis and anti-debugging techniques.
• We require strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• We require experience with scripting and process automation, particularly for reverse engineering and binary analysis.
• We require excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• We reverse engineer, analyse, debug, and document application behaviours.
• We develop, fine-tune, and support anti-cheat measures and in-game abuse prevention systems.
• We drive root cause analysis efforts behind internally and publicly identified vulnerabilities.
• We collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security controls and detection.
• We support the active development of internal tooling and anti-cheat solutions.
• We identify gaps in anti-cheat capabilities and detection workflows to improve our overall security posture.
