Senior AI Engineer

Salary: £42,000 - 72,500 per year

Requirements:

• We require active UK Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance, with at least SC minimum.
• We are looking for extensive experience managing, scaling, and debugging containerized workloads in Kubernetes.
• We need hands-on experience with Helm charts, Kubernetes networking, storage volumes, and GPU orchestration.
• We require deep experience using LangChain and LangGraph to build complex, stateful, and cyclic agent architectures.
• We are looking for strong proficiency in Python, including integrations with LlamaIndex and Hugging Face.
• We need experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Qdrant, Milvus, or Chroma.
• We require a strong background in software engineering practices, including Git, testing, design patterns, and API development with FastAPI or Flask.
• We are looking for experience deploying to secure cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP using EKS, AKS, or GKE.

Responsibilities:

• We design, build, and deploy production-ready GenAI applications and multi-agent systems in secure environments.
• We design, implement, and optimize multi-agent frameworks and stateful LLM applications.
• We containerize, deploy, and scale AI models, APIs, and microservices across production Kubernetes clusters.
• We configure Kubernetes workloads for high availability, including resource limits, GPU provisioning, and autoscaling for heavy LLM inference workloads.
• We build robust Python codebases that comply with strict data security and air-gapped environment protocols within containerized environments.
• We establish monitoring, evaluation, and CI/CD pipelines to track LLM latency, cost, and hallucination rates.

We are offering a 6-month contract role at £700 per day, operating outside IR35, with a high likelihood of extension. We offer hybrid working with remote options available for UK-based candidates.
