Salesforce Developer

Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 6 to 8 years of proven, hands-on experience in Salesforce software development.
• Strong proficiency in Apex (Classes, Triggers), SOQL, and web technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Hands-on experience building dynamic front-ends using Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Strong understanding of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• Familiarity with Salesforce IDEs and DevOps/version control tools.
• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II are preferred.
• Experience with integration middleware such as MuleSoft.
• Strong communication skills with a proven track record of directly facing clients and understanding technical requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and customize robust applications on the Force platform.
• Work closely with business analysts, solution architects, and clients to translate business requirements into scalable, high-performing Salesforce solutions.
• Build custom applications, user interfaces, and business logic using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Aura Components.
• Use declarative tools like Salesforce Flows, Process Builder, and Approval Processes where appropriate before resorting to custom code.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
• Write comprehensive unit test classes to ensure proper code coverage, and assist with System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Manage code migrations and deployments across sandboxes, UAT, and production environments using version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, ensuring high system availability and performance.
