Remote Senior Full-Stack Engineer – AI Cost Visibility

Salary: £51,000 - 91,000 per year

Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including multi-tenant SaaS products and end-to-end ownership of features or products in production
• Strong Go skills for backend services, APIs, data processing, and operating production systems
• Strong TypeScript and modern React skills, with an eye for clear data presentation
• Ability to work across the stack, from data models to user interfaces
• Experience building on public cloud platforms (GCP preferred; AWS or Azure) and working proficiency in SQL with an analytical data store such as BigQuery
• Product-oriented thinking, with a focus on user needs and outcomes as well as implementation
• Regular use of AI tools across the engineering workflow, with concrete understanding of their benefits and limitations
• Strong knowledge of software engineering practices, design patterns, and architectural principles, and ability to set direction for others
• Comfort with ambiguity and fast-moving markets, including identifying the right problems to solve
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Self-organized, goal-oriented, self-motivated, confident, thorough, and tenacious
• FinOps or FinOps product knowledge is a plus
• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience is a plus
• A portfolio of work is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Own features end-to-end, from understanding customer needs through design, implementation, release, monitoring, and iteration, with responsibility for outcomes and impact
• Build understanding of AI spending and the FinOps domain, and apply customer and product insight to design decisions
• Use AI tools throughout the engineering workflow, including codebase exploration, prototyping, code generation and review, debugging, testing, and documentation
• Design, build, and scale backend services in Go and product experiences in TypeScript and React
• Turn cost and usage data into clear, fast, and trustworthy interfaces that support financial decisions
• Build platform capabilities that are fully accessible through APIs for both people and agents
• Set a high engineering standard through design reviews, customer guardrails, and effective engineering practices
• Mentor peers and share knowledge with the team
