Product Manager - Manchester

Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong Product Management experience within software or digital environments
• Experience taking ownership from discovery and shaping through to delivery
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to prototype and develop product ideas
• Comfortable creating tangible outputs quickly rather than relying solely on traditional documentation
• Strong understanding of how Product, Engineering, and Design work together
• Confident stakeholder management skills and the ability to challenge constructively
• Proactive mindset with the ability to independently push initiatives forward
• Comfortable working in an evolving environment where there is still plenty to shape

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of a key product area
• Work closely with Engineering and Design across product discovery, shaping, prioritisation, prototyping, testing, and delivery
• Use AI tools practically throughout the product development process
• Turn complex business problems into clear product solutions
• Challenge requirements and make decisions about what should and should not be built
• Work with Engineering to take shaped concepts through into delivery
• Manage competing priorities across different areas of the business
• Help evolve ways of working toward a more fluid, product-led approach

We are a long-established business entering the next stage of a major technology and product transformation, with a growing Product team taking ownership of how new products and platforms are shaped and built. We are moving away from rigid delivery processes toward a more fluid approach, with Product doing more of the thinking, shaping, and prototyping before work reaches Engineering. This is a 5-day onsite role based in North Manchester, with a salary of £55,000–£60,000. We are looking for someone who is actively experimenting with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar to prototype ideas and accelerate product development in a practical, hands-on way.
