Platform Software Engineer

Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year

Responsibilities:

• We help shape, build and operate the infrastructure and services that underpin our engineering platform, from requirements and design through to deployment, support and continuous improvement.
• We take ownership of core development tools and infrastructure, including compute, container platforms, application hosting and quality assurance systems.
• We provide technical guidance and help engineering teams adopt consistent best practices.
• We improve reliability and help reduce operational risk and manual effort.
• We use technologies such as cloud platforms, container orchestration, infrastructure as code and automation to deliver secure, scalable and resilient services.
• We investigate complex technical issues and improve observability.
