Oracle ERP Application Analyst

Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Functional Oracle ERP Finance experience
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, or Accounts Receivable)
• Experience with Oracle Finance configuration
• Proficiency in SQL and/or PL/SQL
• Background in application support and troubleshooting
• Experience testing configurations, patches, or customizations
• Knowledge of Fixed Assets, Cash Management, E-Business Tax, or Oracle sub-ledgers is beneficial
• A relevant degree is preferred but not essential given strong practical experience

Responsibilities:

• Support Oracle E-Business Suite finance applications
• Troubleshoot functional and technical issues across Oracle Finance
• Configure, test, and implement system changes
• Gather and document business requirements
• Use SQL and PL/SQL to investigate and resolve technical issues
• Support patching, upgrades, and application maintenance
• Test Oracle patches, configurations, and customizations
• Manage incident resolution and conduct root cause analysis
• Collaborate with finance users and technical teams across EMEA and the US
• Contribute to smaller projects and system improvements

We are a global technology business looking for an Oracle ERP Application Analyst to join our production support team in Southampton. In this office-based role, you will take ownership of an ERP environment supporting operations across EMEA, focusing specifically on Oracle Financials including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable. This is an opportunity to work within a busy, international environment where you will gain exposure to how Oracle supports finance and operational processes across a large organization.
