IT Systems Engineer - Modern Workplace

Salary: £40,000 - 42,000 per year

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 in a business environment
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and Exchange Online
• Strong knowledge of Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Experience managing users, permissions, and access
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide 2nd line support for Microsoft 365 workplace tools and services
• Administer and support Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Manage user accounts, permissions, licensing, and group configurations
• Support endpoint management using Intune and related tools
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and manage incidents
• Work closely with service desk teams to resolve escalated issues
• Build and support Power Apps and Power Automate workflows to improve processes
• Assist with governance of the Power Platform, including permissions, environments, and policies
• Contribute to documentation, user guidance, and best practices

This is a hands-on role supporting and enhancing our modern Microsoft 365 digital workplace, with a focus on secure, reliable systems and an excellent user experience.
